During the HONOR Magic 6 series launch in China, HONOR also unveiled an exclusive HONOR Magic V2 RSR. This special edition is priced at 15,999 Yuan (~RM10,463) and is only available in the Chinese market. Nonetheless, you can read the tech specs below.
This is HONOR's first Porsche-designed folding screen. From the outside, the back of the HONOR Magic V2 RSR is deeply integrated with the classic Porsche design, bringing a unique dynamic and racing gene. Not only that, the phone breaks the typical design of the lens module that is not square or round but forms a Porsche rear window with a slip-back effect.
It may look fragile but the build quality is quite strong, at least on paper. the Magic V2 RSR features a 5D unibody and a 2nd-generation nano Rhino Glass technology. Compared with the older one, the crystal density has been increased by 50% and drop resistance by 30%. It also achieved fall resistance on hard surfaces (like an asphalt road) tenfold. Its titanium hinge is also reinforced tightly.
In terms of configuration, the HONOR Magic V2 RSR inner screen is 7.92 inches with a resolution of 2344×2156, while the outer screen size is 6.43 inches with a resolution of 2376×1060. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes in 16GB of RAM + 1TB of storage. There is no news of any arrival in Malaysia yet.
