Fresh from the release of the HONOR 90 series last week, the Chinese tech firm may be set to launch another smartphone soon. This is after the successor to its foldable phone, the Magic V2 was spotted getting 3C certification in China.

In case you’re not familiar, 3C or CCC is the certification required for both imported and Chinese-made products. As the certification listing is made public, we get to know certain details regarding a product, in this case, HONOR’s upcoming foldable.

This doesn’t really come as a surprise as the Magic V2 was actually spotted getting another certification in China, MIIT. As reported by GizmoChina, the Magic V2 has the model number VER-AN10 in the MIT certification.

Circling back to the 3C certification, nothing much was revealed other than the device supporting the 11V/6A charging speeds. That’s equivalent to 66W fast charging if you’re wondering.

In previous rumours, the foldable device is touted to feature a 5000mAh battery, a 2K LTPO OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC variants, up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed just yet.

What’s confirmed is that the device does exist and given that it's gotten two certifications, it is bound to be launched soon. Until then, make sure to stay tuned to TechNave for the latest trending tech news!
