Early Bird Buyers To Receive Mystery Gifts Worth Up To RM3,797
To attract early adopters, HONOR Malaysia is offering mystery gifts worth up to RM3,797 for customers who place their bookings during the campaign period. Buyers will also receive the HONOR Magic Pen, valued at RM499, as part of the early bird promotion package. Bookings for the HONOR Magic V6 can be made through HONOR Malaysia’s New Launch Page.
Recapping the Extreme Durability Strength Tests
The HONOR Magic V6 has been heavily marketed around its durability and structural strength, particularly its new Super Steel Hinge, which boasts a reported tensile strength of 2,800 MPa. According to HONOR, the foldable device successfully endured extreme stress tests involving pulling a 1.25-tonne aircraft as well as a Ferrari sports car without sustaining damage.
The device also introduces upgraded protection technologies for both its outer and inner displays. The external screen uses HONOR’s Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield featuring a 5,600-layer silicon nitride coating aimed at improving scratch resistance during daily usage. Meanwhile, the internal folding display is protected by an upgraded Ultra-Tough Glass flexible layer designed to improve durability over long-term folding cycles.
First Foldable With Dual IP68 And IP69 Ratings
Another major highlight of the HONOR Magic V6 is its dual IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance certifications, making it one of the most durable foldables announced so far. HONOR says the device can survive submersion in water up to 1.5 metres deep, pushing foldable waterproofing standards further than previous generations.
