HONOR has just announced the launch of a new MagicBook laptop, featuring bezels even thinner than before, a lightweight chassis for great portability and enhanced performance through AMD-based chips. It was announced during a livestream this afternoon, along with other new devices.

The new MagicBook has been confirmed to have an improved 15.6-inch FullView display with the bezels measuring at 4.8mm, 4mm less than its predecessor. This gives it an impressive 87% screen-to-body ratio, all to the betterment of your viewing pleasure. Besides that, at about 1.38kg it's a full 70g lighter than last year's model.

But dimensions aren't the only area of improvement. The MagicBook also features higher tech specs, including the upgrade to an AMD Ryzen 7 3700U CPU, AMD Radeon RX Vega 10 GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM (dual-channel), and a PCIe NVMe SSD with up to 512GB of storage.

This translates into greater computing performance for the laptop. In fact, HONOR showed off some FPS scores of the device when playing League of Legends over a 30-minute duration. The MagicBook managed an average of 79.7 FPS, which proves that the laptop will be more than capable of playing MOBA titles smoothly.

It will also come with a 56Wh battery that can last for 9.5 hours playing 1080p videos, 9.4 hours of web-browsing, or 10 hours of office productivity. Additionally, it charges via a Type-C port that supports fast-charging for your mobile devices. Using the port, you can charge the laptop itself by 46% in 30 minutes or charge an HONOR V30 to 70% in the same amount of time.

Moreover, HONOR has included a fancy hidden pop-up camera on the laptop that ensures that it only appears when you need it. Another handy feature is the biometric power button, which you can use to login to the device quickly.

The HONOR MagicBook 14 will come with two variants priced at 3899 yuan (~RM2319) and 4199 yuan (~RM2498), while the MagicBook 15 will be priced at 3899 yuan (~RM2319).
