Besides the new HONOR phones, HONOR Malaysia also launched another new tablet, the HONOR Pad X7. There is only one memory variant, at the price of RM499, and here's everything you need to know about it.
HONOR Pad X7 Tech Specs
To kick it off, the Pad X7 sports an 8.7-inch panel (TFT / IPS) with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1340 × 800. Under the hood, the Pad X7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset (6nm process), paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage in the base configuration. That's not a lot of space, but it can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card.
On the imaging front, the Pad X7 includes an 8MP rear camera with basic autofocus and HDR capabilities. For video calls and selfies, it offers a 5MP front camera, both supporting up to 1080p at 30 fps video recording. Of course, one of the stand-out features is the large 7020 mAh battery. Charging speed is not specified, but reports are pointing to 10W wired charging.
Design and Other Features
HONOR has kept the Pad X7 relatively slim and portable, weighing in at around 365g and measuring approximately 8 mm thick. Audio duties are handled by stereo speakers, which deliver decent sound for media consumption, although the tablet does not include a 3.5 mm headphone jack in certain leaks.
Connectivity includes WiFi (dual band) and Bluetooth 5.0, along with a USB-C port for data and charging. On the software side, the Pad X7 runs Android 15 with its custom MagicOS, bringing features like multitasking, enhanced UI optimisations, and other AI-enhanced functions.
Price and Availability
As aforementioned, the HONOR Pad X7 is priced at RM499. It appears that there won't be any pre-order or early bird bundle for getting this tablet. That said, it is part of a freebie package if you choose to get the HONOR X9d 5G during the pre-order period (24 September to 9 October 2025).
