Besides announcing the Magic V3 foldable smartphone, HONOR also released a few other products, including a new wearable, the HONOR Watch 5. Featuring a sleek design and improved specs, read on to learn more about the smartwatch.
The Watch 5 sports a 1.85-inch AMOLED with a 450 x 390 pixels resolution and a 1000 nits peak brightness. In terms of build, the smartwatch has a 6-series aluminium frame with a rotating crown for controls, a speaker and a microphone for Bluetooth calls.
Besides that, the Watch 5 has a 480mAh silicon-carbon battery which HONOR claims can last up to 15 days with regular use. This is thanks to a 21 per cent better energy density than its predecessor and the company’s Turbo X system-level energy consumption optimiser.
The usual health tracking is also available, further improved with the addition of HONOR’s Scientific Sleep Management, Healthy Morning Report and Quick Health Scan. Other notable specs include Bluetooth 5.2, 4GB onboard storage for storing music, MagicOS 8, 5ATM and IP68 rating, on-device GPS positioning and colour options of either Black, Gold or Green.
