HONOR Watch Magic with multiple health monitors revealed at global launch for RM599

Along with the HONOR View20, the Watch Magic was also announced alongside with the flagship and the official local price is RM599. Just like the flagship, the Watch Magic is not really a new wearable as it was revealed in China last year but for the sake of this global launch, let's recap what are the tech specs once again.

For starters, the Watch Magic sports a 1.2-inch AMOLED display and it's quite light compared with others, even though it's using a stainless steel frame but the overall thickness is just 9.8mm thickness excluding the glass. Like all wearables, this one comes in either silicone or leather bands so do check with your local listing on how you can get either one.

As for the tech specs, it has a dual-chip technology inside the body, one for performance and the other for energy efficiency. It has quite an impressive set of GNSS receiver as well, featuring GPS, GLONASS and a Compass/Galileo for tracking in the outdoors like hiking in the mountains. Speaking of that, it can also track swimming (water-resistant up to 50m), cycling (including stationary ones), walking, running and more. The battery is just 178mAh but HONOR claims that it can last up to a week or 10 hours with GPS turned on.

But it's more than just a regular sports watch, HONOR integrated a TruSeen 3.0 technology to monitor your heart rate, as well as TruRelax technology that monitors your blood pressure and breathing exercises. Lastly, the TruSleep 2.0 can help monitor eight different sleeping positions, identify six sleeping disorders and suggests 200 sleeping methods. For connectivity, it supports NFC, Huawei Pay, AliPay and bus cards.

The Watch Magic will also make its debut in Malaysia with the HONOR View20 on 26 January 2019 at a roadshow in 1 Utama . Stay tuned for more HONOR news at TechNave.com.
