The new HUAWEI P50 series is rumoured to be debuting in 17 April and we reported that the smartphone will be having the HarmonyOS pre-installed out of the box. Today, we got another report that stated the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 2 5G will also be launching alongside with the HUAWEI P50 series with some tech specs leaks.

According to the source, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 2 5G will come with the Kirin 9000 5G chipset that is pre-installed with the PadOS operating system. Due to the US restrictions, the company will be using a lighter version of the Kirin 9000 chipset which is named as the Kirin 9000E instead. The difference between the both would be the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) which the Kirin 9000E will only have a single-core NPU compared to the dual-core Kirin 9000.
