HUAWEI WATCH D Malaysia release: ECG and blood pressure monitoring at RM1,999

After previously teasing the product’s imminent release in our country, HUAWEI Malaysia today finally announced the release of the HUAWEI WATCH D for our local market. The company’s first wrist-type ECG and blood pressure monitoring device, the WATCH D provides health monitoring convenience to consumers’ wrists.

The wearable is equipped with a mini pump to measure blood pressure accurately in real-time, anytime and anywhere. HUAWEI said that the wearable’s high-resolution pressure sensor, feedback pressure control circuit and low-flow airway allow for a precise pressure measurement system. Impressively, it can maintain a pressure measurement error within ±3mmHg,

Besides that, it also has an ECG high-performance sensor module that supports recording ECG data and immediately generating ECG reports. Moreover, the WATCH D supports ECG monitoring that reminds the user to perform ECG measurements as soon as an abnormal heart rate is detected. 

In addition, the device also features heart rate monitoring, scientific sleep monitoring, all-day SpO2 monitoring, skin temperature detection stress monitoring and more than 70 workout modes. As for battery life, HUAWEI claims that the WATCH D can last up to 7 days.

In Malaysia, the WATCH D is available in a singular black colour and is priced at RM1,999. It will be available for pre-order from 12 until 23 December 2022 via the HUAWEI Official Website.
