Besides the Mate 50 series, HUAWEI has also brought the mid-range nova 10 series to Malaysia. Three devices, nova 10, nova 10 Pro, and nova 10 SE, will be available for pre-order, starting 12 November to 17 November 2022. The HUAWEI nova 10 and 10 Pro use an OLED display that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. However, the nova 10's screen size is slightly smaller at 6.67-inch with FHD+ 2400 × 1080 pixels, while the one on Pro variant measures 6.78-inch with FHD+ 1200 × 2652 pixels. Under the hood, both devices pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Furthermore, the nova 10 has a 4,000mAh battery, and the nova 10 Pro uses a 4,500mAh package, supporting 66W fast charge and 100W fast charge, respectively. Photography-wise, they offer a triple rear camera system with a 50MP primary camera (f/1.9 aperture for nova 10 and f/1.8 aperture for nova 10 Pro), an 8MP ultra-wide macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. Both also use a 60MP sensor on the front, but the Pro has an extra 8MP Portrait Close-up camera.
Coming to the nova 10 SE, the device sports a 6.67-inch OLED that supports up to 90Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate. It packs a Snapdragon 680G 4G chipset alongside 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The battery is at 4,500mAh and supports 66W charging. On the rear, it packs a triple camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary camera,
8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. Meanwhile, the front gets a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The HUAWEI nova 10 and nova 10 Pro will be available in Starry Silver and Starry Black, priced at RM2,199 and RM2,599, respectively. For the nova 10 SE, the model comes in Mint Green and Starry Black with a retail price of RM1,499. Pre-ordering these devices will get you some HMS exclusive rewards, but the nova 10 and nova 10 Pro have an extra free HUAWEI Watch Fit.
