HUAWEI unveiled the upcoming nova 9 on 23 September in China and the company will be launching two new smartphones in the global markets on 21 October in Vienna, Austria. Both the HUAWEI nova 9 and the HUAWEI nova 8i will be launched at the event. This will be the first global launch out of China after a while.
Since it launched in China, we probably know what’s coming in. The HUAWEI nova 9 comes with a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. As for the cameras, it sports a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide angle camera, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors.
On the front, it comes with a 32MP selfie snapper. The HUAWEI nova 9 comes with a 4,300mAh battery that supports up to 66W fast charging. As for the HUAWEI nova 8i, it comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display powered by Snapdragon 662 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It sports a 64MP triple camera lens with a 4,300mAh battery with support of 66W fast charging too.
As of now, there’s still no official confirmation on the Malaysia launching date for the HUAWEI nova 9 yet, so do take this with a pinch of salt. But we are expecting to get more announcements soon. Do stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com
