Have you tried playing Google Maps Snake yet?

After yesterday's April Fools announcements, Google actually rolled out Google Maps Snake which you can play via the Google Maps app. Available for about a week according to their blog, you can access it via the Settings when you tap on “Play Snake”.

Controls are swipes left, right, up and down as the 8-bit looking train snake travels across the map of your choosing but Google do make it interesting by popping up landmarks and so forth instead of just people. It's a fun little time-waster if you're doing nothing at the moment.

Still, there's no sign of any piano music playing game in Google Calendar just yet but who knows, maybe Google might put that in next week. In the meantime, stay tuned to TechNave.com for all the latest in tech.
