The other two freebies

For this launch, Celcom will also be giving away a complimentary UV Sterilizer that doubles as a Wireless Charger, as well as a Wireless Charger Convertible. For your information, the UV Sterilizer with Wireless Charger is worth RM299 whereas the latter is worth RM209.

RM99/month with Easyphone Mega Lightning XL

Now that we got the gifts out of the way, it's time to check out the prices which is the Celcom MEGA postpaid plan for RM80/month. Here's the breakdown.

Firstly, the MEGA Unlimited plan is pretty straightforward as there are only two options - Unlimited L and Unlimited M (24 months contract) at RM149/month for the Galaxy Note20 5G, or RM189/month if you want the Note20 Ultra 5G. Meanwhile, the MEGA Lightning has three options - Lightning XL, L and M - that starts from RM129/month and RM169/month respectively. You can also choose to go for a 30-month contract, which will reduce the total per month.

Wait, where's the RM99/month that Celcom has been promoting about? Calm down, just have a look at the table above and you'll find it under the 30 months contract with MEGA Lightning XL, for the Galaxy Note20 5G. The Note20 Ultra 5G is also slightly cheaper with the same plan at RM129/month.

Device bundle from RM2198

If you prefer getting the new flagships with the device bundle option, you can do so with all the aforementioned MEGA plans as well. Compared to the Easyphone plan, this option is more straightforward as the Galaxy Note20 5G will cost just RM2198 with the MEGA Lightning XL plan. On the other hand, the Note20 Ultra 5G device bundle will cost RM2998 on the same plan.

Looking at all the device bundle MEGA plans on Celcom's website, signing up for the MEGA Lightning is probably the better choice. Besides the more affordable price on the MEGA Lightning XL plan, you also get a large Internet data pool of up to 120GB (and unlimited network calls!) so I won't worry of running out at all.
