Yesterday, we reported that the realme GT2 Master Explorer is set for launch this 12 July 2022 and today, realme did one better by unveiling the highly-anticipated smartphone’s actual design! Shared via its official social media, realme showcased the device in a couple of promotional materials prior to its launch.
Taking to its official Weibo account, realme posted a promotional poster with the back of the GT2 Master Explorer in its full glory. Sporting a boxy design with a module housing a triple-camera setup at its back, the main camera lens that’s larger than the other two is really intriguing.
Another unique design choice is the use of leather and aluminum for the smartphone’s surface. A promotional video further reveals the inspiration behind the aesthetics, whereby its designer Jae Jung said that the design is inspired by travel trunks of explorers in the olden days.
Besides the design, realme didn’t reveal much about the GT2 Master Explorer, hence its specs are mere speculations as of yet. Well, only a few days before the actual launch and we’ll find out together.
