Based on a statement by globaltimes.cn, Huawei is expected to launch their very first HongMeng OS equipped smartphone somewhere around Q4 2019 along side the Huawei Mate 30 series. The smartphone in question has been reported to start from the price of around RMB2000(~RM1203).
That being said, the upcoming Huawei phone will not be the first to come with the HongMeng OS. Instead, the first batch of devices that will have the operating system pre-installed is HONOR’s smart TV series which is available for purchase exclusively in China starting from 10 August 2019.
As of now, there is no information in terms of the Malaysia release date and local pricing.
