If you drive often in Subang Jaya, there's a good chance that you probably have seen a new Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G advertisement billboard somewhere in Sunway Pyramid. You can say "well, that escalated quickly" since 5G is not available yet, but Huawei Malaysia just confirmed that they are indeed bringing that phone in soon.

According to Huawei Malaysia's Facebook post, the Mate 30 Pro 5G has just gotten certified by SIRIM which signals its arrival soon. Usually when this happens, a smartphone will be ready to launch in a month's time, more or less. Also, judging by the Facebook post, it seems that the Mate 30 Pro 5G variant design will be in orange.

Tech-specs wise, the flagship will likely have the same set as the vanilla version sporting a Kirin 990 chipset (but with 5G capabilities), a quad-rear camera, 8GB + 256GB memory capacity, a 6.53-inch OLED display, 4500mAh battery and more.

Price and availability are unknown at this point but what is your guess? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more Huawei news at TechNave.com.
