Honor Hunter gaming laptop expected to have superb heat dissipation

With the relative success that it has found in the thin and light laptop segment, Honor turns its attention to gaming laptops and will be launching the Honor Hunter on 16 September 2020. As usual, leaks have been popping up gradually and the latest one we found was about the cooling system for the laptop.

In a new Weibo post, Honor mentioned its new laptop's cooling system. The post implied that a laptop's chassis doesn't have to be thick to house an efficient cooling system, implying that the Honor Hunter's thermal management is as good as those of more standard gaming laptop form factors.

Another post shows a picture of thermal imaging for the area around the WASD keys on the laptop's keyboard, where your hands will usually rest on when gaming. Anyway, the recorded temperature was just 30.6°C after more than an hour of gaming, which is pretty impressive. This is at a room temperature of 26°C, so the result can be easily replicated by gaming in a room with air-conditioning.

Of course, this device will probably be suitable only for mainstream games like LoL or Dota 2. But it's great for those who game on the go and care about thermal performance. With that said, would you be interested in the Honor Hunter if it's launched here? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates on this laptop.
