So far, we've seen several new devices at MWC 2024. As you would expect, most of them are smartphones or tablets. From Honor, there's the Honor Magic6 Pro for its smartphone category. But the brand also has a new Honor MagicBook Pro 16 laptop and tablet available. Let's take a look at the Honor Pad 9.
The Honor Pad 9 is a lower mid-range tablet focusing on entertainment. It features a large 12.1-inch FullView Display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2560x1600 max resolution, and a 1.07 billion colour gamut. Paired with the display is an eight-speaker setup, giving a more immersive acoustic experience. It even has background noise cancellation, so it's great for attending online classes or conferences.
Under the hood, the Honor Pad 9 is powered by the modest Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It also has 16GB of RAM (8GB+8GB expansion) and 256GB of internal storage, allowing users to better multi-task and store more apps. Honor's new tablet also has a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and a sizable 8300mAh battery. As for the OS, it's running on MagicOS 7.2.
The price for the Honor Pad 9 is Euro 349 (~RM1803), but expect it to be lower once it comes to Malaysia. We expect this tablet to land on our shores eventually, so stay tuned to TechNave for future updates.
