At the Honor GT launch in China last night, Honor also unveiled the new Honor Pad V9. This mid-range tablet is positioned between the Honor Pad GT and Honor Pad X series, so it has some good specs for a reasonable price. Here's a quick overview of what to expect.
The Honor Pad V9 features a sizable 11.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a 2800x1840 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also has an 8-speaker setup with Spatial Audio, Hi-Res Audio, and DTS: X support. As you can already tell, it's clear the tablet was designed for videos and music. In addition, the Honor Pad V9 has a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front camera, and stylus support. Its UI is the Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0.
Of course, you could even play some games on it, thanks to the Dimensity 8350 chipset. For your info, this chipset can match Qualcomm's older Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, making it a flagship-level chipset. Besides that, its 10100mAh battery will provide hours of entertainment. And if that's not enough, the 66W charger is enough to go from 0 to 100% in roughly 85 minutes (based on experience with other models).
The Honor Pad V9 is available with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for CNY 2099 (~RM1287) or a variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage for CNY 2799 (~RM1717). There's no confirmation on availability in Malaysia yet, but stay tuned to TechNave for more updates.
