Underneath the metal body of the Honor 6X lies Huawei’s own silicon – the HiSIlicon Kirin 655 SoC. This mid-tier processor is an octa-core processor which has eight Cortex A53 cores, four of which running at 2.1GHz and the other 4 running at 1.7Ghz. It comes with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage with microSD expansion, and the reason of its existence – the dual camera sensor at the rear. Like its brother the Huawei P9, the dual sensor takes images that is then combined to achieve better dynamic range in the image itself. In this case the sensor is a 12/2-megapixel sensor duo that not only gives extra dynamic range information, it also can be used to achieve depth of field adjustments in the final image.

The price for the 3GB version will be USD 249 (~RM 1145) while the upcoming 4GB version wis priced at USD 299 (~RM 1345).  Malaysia will be seeing this model on the market soon, so stay tuned as we share more news of the Honor 6X here in Malaysia.
