In regards to the news of Huawei working on its own OS, we previously reported that that Huawei has hired a former Apple designer to design their new independent mobile OS, even a team of developers is in Scandinavia now working on the mobile OS (rumours). News has reached the ears of Huawei CEO, Richard Yu and he has responded to the news in a positive manner.

According to Mr. Yu on his Weibo account, he said as long as Google maintains the Android OS to be an open source for other devices, Huawei will keep on using it. However, he also did not deny about their own OS in the making, known as Kirin OS (sounds a lot cooler). So how it will turn out in the future could turn out interesting, just like Microsoft using their own Windows 10 Mobile OS as well as Samsung on their Tizen OS experiment.

So what do you think of Huawei's new Kirin OS in the making? How do you think it will balance itself with the current EMUI OS? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
