We know Huawei is already working on their next EMUI, but just a day after posting the news, we got another different story which is not only Huawei is working on their next EMUI, but their very own mobile OS just in case their partnership with Google expires.
It's not that the partnership between Huawei and Google is in shambles right now, but this is just a backup plan if Google decided to stop supporting third-party devices in the future. In case you've never used EMUI 4.1 before, many critics have noted the resemblance and similarity to the Apple's iOS especially the operating system's skin, so it's either you hate it or love it. In addition, it was reported that Huawei has hired a former Apple designer to design their new independent mobile OS; reports suggest that a team of developers is in Scandinavia now working on the mobile OS.
