Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G releasing on 7 February in Malaysia for RM4199

Today, Huawei Malaysia have officially announced that Malaysians will be able to purchase the Mate 30 Pro 5G at a recommended retail price of RM4199. As the first 5G smartphone to receive an official SIRIM certification, the phone will be available at every Huawei Concept Store and local telcos starting 7 February 2020.

Customers who purchase the phone will receive RM537 worth of freebies, which includes a Supercharge charger for the phone to be charged wirelessly (1-year warranty). In addition, Huawei Malaysia also mentioned that the Celcom, Maxis, and U Mobile will be selling the Mate 30 Pro 5G publicly. As for Digi, they will announce is in the near future.

Besides the obvious 5G connectivity add on upgrade, the Mate 30 Pro 5G can still support 2G - 4G connectivity. Its 5G connection also supports two modes of NSA (non-Standalone) and SA (Standalone), this allows your SIM card to have a dual 5G + 4G support usage. Furthermore, the phone retains all the same tech specs as the vanilla version such as the Kirin 990 chipset, a quad-rear camera configuration, 4500mAh battery with a 40W SuperCharge and 27W wireless charge support and more.
