Huawei Mate 30 series official price release in China, starting from ~RM2351

Usually, smartphone brands would announce the price for their latest flagship at the end of an event, but it's a different story for Huawei as they aren't clear yet from the Google service issue. However, a Vmall online store from China has released the price tags today and this could a clue for us.

According to their website, there will be two memory variants for the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro each. For the vanilla, it would be the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB versions, whereas the pro will have an 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB version. For the price tags, the list said 3999 Yuan, 4299 Yuan, 5799 Yuan, and 6299 Yuan respectively.

For a rough estimation of our local price, the direct conversion would look like this:

  • 3999 Yuan - ~RM2351
  • 4299 Yuan - ~RM2527
  • 5799 Yuan - ~RM3409
  • 6299 Yuan - ~RM3703

Another interesting thing to note is that the website confirms that the Mate 30 series are running on EMUI 10 OS, which matched the tech spec sheet in the Huawei Global website showing the same thing with an extra (Based on Android 10) remark.
