Last month, it was reported that Huawei could launch the Mate XTs on 12 September 2025. However, Huawei probably doesn't want to launch it so close after Apple's iPhone 17 series launch on 9 September, as the date has now been confirmed to be earlier.
Launching ahead to avoid the iPhone buzz
According to Huawei, the Huawei Mate XTs launches on 4 September 2025 in China. Teasers of the tri-fold device have been posted on the company's Weibo page, showing the device in white and purple. The pre-order page on Vmall confirms that four colourways are available - black, white, purple, and red.
In addition, the pre-order page revealed three variants for the Mate XTs. All three variants feature 16GB of RAM with 256GB, 512GB and 1TB of storage, respectively. It's also reported that the phone will sport a Kirin 9020 chipset, stylus support, and upgraded cameras compared to its predecessor.
Same price as before
Although the actual price of the Huawei Mate XTs has yet to be revealed, it's rumoured to have the same launch price as last year's Mate XT at 19999 yuan (~RM11807). Expect more updates cropping up in the lead-up to the launch. In the meantime, stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
