Some rumours may not be very reliable, but official certifications guarantee that the device is real. For example, a Huawei 5G tablet was recently certified by China's 3C, so there's a chance it's coming soon. In fact, this could be the MatePad Pro 2.

According to Digital Chat Station, the model number WGR-AN19 was spotted before and should be the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 5G. This upcoming tablet is expected to come with the Kirin 9000 chipset. He also claimed that there will be two display options - a 12.2-inch Huaxing panel and a 12.6-inch Samsung panel with 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the tablet should match its predecessor's 40W fast-charging and 27W wireless charging.

For reference, last year's MatePad Pro 5G was introduced in China in late February, before launching here in April 2020. It featured a smaller 10.8-inch IPS display, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. We assume that the new model would at least retain most of these specs, if not improve upon them.

Of course, we can't confirm anything and the 3C certification only shows the 40W fast-charging. Having said that, would you be interested in getting a high-end tablet like this in 2021? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about it.
