The new Huawei Nova 7 series is already being marketed in China, leading to multiple leaks in the last few days. We already know that both the Nova 7 and Nova 7 SE will house new Kirin chipsets, specifically the Kirin 985 and 820 chipsets. It was also suggested that the Nova 7 Pro could house the more powerful Kirin 990 chipset, but it seems that this isn't the case.

In a hands-on video by Sparrow News, it was revealed that the Nova 7 Pro is going to have the Kirin 985 chipset as well. Its other internal specs are also similar, with a maximum 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The display is where you see a visible difference, as the Nova 7 Pro has one with curved sides and two front cameras instead of one.

For cameras, it's going to have a quad-camera setup at the back. This is expected to be a combination of a 64MP main camera, 8MP telephoto lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. Allegedly, the 8MP telephoto lens will have up to 50x digital zoom and OIS. For the two front cameras, one of them is a 32MP sensor.

Huawei wants to continue making the Nova series an affordable one targeted at youngsters. Knowing Huawei, the Nova 7 series is most likely coming to Malaysia too, so look forward to that.
