Today, Huawei Malaysia officially introduces two new wearables (including the Watch 5). In this news article, we will take a look at the Watch Fit 4 series, including two models - the Watch Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro. The pre-order is now available, with the price starting from RM599.
As lightweight wearables, the standard version weighs just 27 grams with a 9.5mm profile, while the Pro version, slightly heavier at 30.4 grams, features premium materials like sapphire glass and a titanium alloy bezel. The Watch Fit 4 Series is designed with a wide range of sports and outdoor activities in mind, supporting over 100 workout modes, including hiking and skiing, and includes a barometer for accurate elevation tracking.
Additionally, Huawei’s new dual-frequency positioning system improves GPS accuracy by up to 30%, and features like offline maps and route navigation aim to support users exploring varied terrain. Another new feature is the water sports route tracking, tailored for activities such as sailing and paddleboarding. The Pro version adds capabilities like contour maps, checkpoint navigation, and a trail running mode. It also includes features for golf and freediving, offering GPS data, performance tracking, and safety alerts.
According to Huawei, health tracking has been enhanced in this series, with continuous heart rate variability (HRV) monitoring and emotional well-being features. The Pro version is equipped with an updated TruSense System and ECG functionality, delivering more accurate real-time data on heart health, stress levels, sleep patterns, and more. Health reports combine these readings into summaries with personalised insights.
In terms of everyday usability, the Watch Fit 4 Series includes features like WhatsApp message replies via a full keyboard, NFC access support, Bluetooth calling, and voice note-taking. The watch supports TNG eWallet QR code payments as well, a first for smartwatches in Malaysia. Battery life ranges up to 10 days on a single charge, with fast charging available on the Pro model.
The Watch Fit 4 and Fit 4 Pro are now available for pre-order in Malaysia, with several colour and strap options for each model. The Watch Fit 4 in Grey is RM699, while the pro variant is RM999. Pre-orders can be placed through Huawei's retail stores and online platforms, including the HUAWEI Official Website, Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
