For those who have been keeping up with the news, you probably know about most of the Huawei devices that are coming soon. We already know that the Huawei Nova 7i is scheduled to be available in Malaysia on Valentines Day, along with other products. Well, turns out that we'll also be getting a new Huawei Y7p smartphone.

If you check out Huawei Malaysia's Valentines Day sales page, you'll notice the six new products that will be available soon. This is how we first found out that the Huawei Y7p was on the way. The Y7p comes with a Kirin 710F chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 6.39-inch HD+ LCD. Also, it comes powered by a 4000 mAh battery - pretty substantial for a what's essentially entry-level for 2020.

In terms of features, there's not much here to talk about. However, it does have a triple-camera setup at the back, which you don't normally expect to see from a device in this range. Thanks to the 48MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP depth sensor, you could probably get decent photos out of it. It also comes with the standard rear fingerprint sensor.

Although we don't have the price for Malaysia yet, the Huawei Y7p is retailing in Thailand for 4699 Baht, which works out to ~RM621. So, if you're looking for a new smartphone on the cheap, this could be an option to consider. We'll definitely keep an eye out for news on the pricing so stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
