Last week, Huawei introduced HarmonyOS globally and many Huawei phones would be able to get an upgrade soon. According to sources, the update rollout seems to be a success as 10 million users in China have upgraded to the new operating system.
To celebrate the occasion, Huawei got a customized decorated cake where it features the Freebuds wireless earphones, Huawei Watch, Huawei phone and the Vision S TV with HarmonyOS on top. Getting 10 million HarmonyOS users is quite an achievement but we also have to keep in mind that it includes all the Huawei devices and accessories.
At the moment, HarmonyOS is available for the Mate 40 series, P40 series, Mate 30 series and the MatePad Pro in China. Huawei has already made a timetable of when the devices will get the update, but for now, there are still no words for the global market yet. That said, the MatePad Pro that was just launched today is pre-installed with the latest HarmonyOS.
