The two new Huawei Mate models (9 and Porsche Design) that was launched previously, has been joined by another model from Huawei – but for now only for China market. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is a cheaper Porsche Design Mate 9 for the masses.
The phone sports a 5.5-inch Quad HD curved AMOLED display, a Kirin 960 64-bit Octa-core processor, a dual Leica branded camera setup (20MP and 12MP), an 8MP selfie snapper and the latest version of Android, 7.0 Nougat. Design wise, it looks similar to the Porsche Design phone – without the branding.
Prices for the model starts at 4,699 Yuan (~RM 2975) 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version, while the 6GB/128GB model retails for 5,299 Yuan (~RM 3355). It is definitely much cheaper than the Porsche Design phone, but so far no news if the phone will be coming to Malaysia anytime soon. In the mean time, you can preorder the Huawei Mate 9 right now from here, and keep staying tuned to TechNave for more information on the Huawei Mate 9 Pro.
