When it comes to foldable smartphones, the larger horizontal folding ones have seen the most relative success. There are a few brands that such a device, with Huawei being the same with its Mate X series. Furthermore, the next model is likely early next year.

According to Digital Chat Station, Huawei will implement an under-display fingerprint sensor to a foldable display. This is probably the display that will be equipped on the Huawei Mate X3, which could launch in Q1 2022. Specifically, it's speculated that the launch window would be in February, as that's the same month when Huawei launched the Mate X2.

Besides that, the tipster claimed that the Huawei Mate 50 series will also be launching in Q1 2022. Originally, it was speculated that Huawei could launch this series in Europe at an event last month. But that didn't happen, so it won't be a surprise if Huawei decided to move the launch to next year.

Of course, this is all purely speculation. But since we haven't seen any renders or leaks of these devices, it's safe to say that they won't launch anytime soon. We'll keep an eye out for updates though, so make sure you stay tuned to TechNave.com. Also, do share your thoughts in the comments below.
