Ah, the seasons of flagships. Huawei will be unveiling their new Mate 10 series soon next month so while we are waiting, we just got some new leak info about the flagships. According to Evans Blass, it seems that there could be three smartphones codenamed Marcel, Blanc and Alps. Here's what we know about them so far.

Leaks suggest that Blanc will have a 5.99-inch EntireView IPS LCD display with 18:9 ratio in 2880 x 1440 resolution. Memory capacity is 6GB RAM + either 64GB or 128GB internal storage, and of course, the new Kirin 970 processor will be on board with a new A.I. digital assistant. We also mentioned before that the camera configuration will remain as the same 12MP + 20MP camera sensor at the back, but with a new twist which is both sensors might have a new f/1.6 aperture. Other than that, it will also come with a new EMUI 6.0 based on Android Oreo, 4000mAh battery and an IP68 rating. This should be the Mate 10 Pro.

As for Alps, Evan thinks that this Mate 10 variant won't be the lite version. This one is a mystery because it features a Kirin 970 chip, 5.88-inch QHD display in 16:9 ratio, 4000mAh battery, 4GB + 64GB and measures 8.23mm thick. That's thicker than Blanc which is just 7.5mm.

Could it be the just the Mate 10? We can't say for sure, we think Marcel should be the one but we have no tech-specs info about it. We will just have to wait and see if Huawei really rolls out three Mate 10 variants or not. Until then, stay tuned for more Huawei news at TechNave.com.
