Huawei will soon launch a new enterprise version of smart display called Enterprise Smart Screen

For a lot of companies, technologies are often launched for the enterprise-level first before consumer ones are released. However, it's going the other way this time for the Huawei. The company decided to launch its Enterprise Smart Screen later this week, one week after the launch of the Vision X65 TV.

According to HuaweiUpdate, the new Enterprise Smart Screen functions like Microsoft's Surface Hub and Google's Jamboard. It is an interactive digital board that is useful for enterprise meetings, allowing them to connect multiple devices to share files, conduct remote collaborations, video conference calls, and more. Also, it'll come with a front camera that can track your gestures, which can be used to control the smart screen.

Huawei first hinted at this smart screen in February 2020 and was originally supposed to launch during that month. However, the launch was delayed and will now be held on 17 April 2020 instead. We believe that it will at least be 50-inch in size and should pack 4K resolution, but aside from that, we don't know any other info or specs.

Ironically, this is probably not a good time to launch a product that's mostly used by enterprise companies during meetings. However, educational institutions could consider using this with video conferencing apps to conduct remote classes. What else do you think it could be useful for?
