Back in February, the beta version of iOS 14.5 revealed the possibility of a MagSafe power bank. Apple may not launch the product in the end, but that's not stopping other companies from doing so. In fact, there's a new wireless power bank for iPhones from the company called Hyper.
According to MacRumors, Hyper has launched its HyperJuice Magnetic Wireless Battery Pack. It's intended for users of the iPhone 12 series, allowing them to wirelessly charge their iPhones on the go. The power bank is quite heavy at 120g but packs a 5000mAh battery inside, so you can fully charge an iPhone 12 twice.
It should be noted that the HyperJuice doesn't actually charge using Apple's MagSafe technology. MagSafe is only there for the battery pack to magnetically align with the smartphone. Instead, it uses 7.5W Qi wireless charging to charge the device. The power bank also comes with advanced temperature control and overcharge protection.
The HyperJuice is priced at USD 39.99 (~RM166), but it's probably not going to be available here. Having said that, would you buy a wireless power bank like this, considering how bulky it seems? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
