Earlier, Instagram has confirmed the return of the chronological feed in 2022. It has proven that the platform does listen to its users by bringing the most loved post sequence back. However, it looks like another thing that users would like to have is coming as well, and it's posting Stories longer than 15 seconds.

According to a user from Turkey, the photo-sharing platform has started to notify some users regarding the change. The prompt message writes "Discover longer stories. Videos up to 60 seconds will no longer be segmented." If you haven't noticed, the current Stories can only last 15 seconds, and anything longer than that would split into another clip.

Besides that, Instagram could also be looking for a new way to let users interact with Stories. The platform is currently testing a revamped interface that will make it easier to mention other accounts or add a location to a post in Stories.
