Instagram has been working on a few new features this year which yesterday we reported that the app will bring back the chronological feed starting next year. Since we are approaching the end of 2021, the company is launching a new “Playback” feature that will recap up to 10 of your top stories for the year to reflect on your 2021.
The new Playback tool is rolling out starting today and this will be a limited time feature for the next several weeks only. Users will get to see a pop up message on top of your feed inviting them to view their 2021 Playback. Once you click in, The feature will automatically generate the Playback year-in-review.
Of course, just in case you feel like sharing a different Instagram story of the year, you will be able to customize it by adding or removing stories before sharing it. The Playback feature is rolling out starting today, so do remember to update and take note on the top of your feed.
