For companies that make any kind of electronics, it's not surprising to hear of them making plans for the future. But Xiaomi may be planning way further ahead than many would expect if speculations are true. At a recent event held by Xiaomi, there were hints that it's already planning for the Mi Mix 10 smartphone and MIUI 15.
According to Gizchina, Xiaomi held its Security and Privacy Promotion Month event where attendees were asked to rate which kind of security they found most important. It was on this rating board that people found stickers referring to the Mi MIX 10 and MIUI 15. Specifically, the label on the stickers roughly translates to "Mi Mix 10 outer design" and "MIUI 15 functionality document".
These stickers look a little out of place, so why were they there? They could have been planted by Xiaomi staff to hint that the Mi Mix 10 will come with the MIUI 15 and would have high-end data protection. Of course, it could also be that someone made up the stickers to fool attendees into making wild speculations.
Considering that we're only getting the Mi Mix 4 and MIUI 12 this year, the Mi Mix 10 and MIUI 15 won't be available for at least a few years.
