Way back around the time of CES 2020, rumours claimed that LG would be launching its rollable TV this year. Months later, it seems that LG is finally getting ready to launch the TV. Reports in South Korea indicate that LG will be looking to launch it sometime next month.

According to TechRadar, the TV named the LG Signature OLED RX could be launched in late October 2020. It's going to be an 8K 65-inch display, which will roll out from a box when you need to use it. The TV can be fully rolled out or you can set it so that just a part of it is showing. From the images we see, it seems like you'll be able to control how much of the display is rolled out, which could make for some interesting applications

Internally, the Signature OLED RX will come with a 2nd-gen Alpha 9 processor. It's able to support LG's ThinQ AI technology, which can be used in conjunction with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Besides that, the TV will support HDMI 2.1, eARC HDM, high frame rates, variable refresh rates, and automatic low latency mode (ALLM). Of course, it'll also support Dolby Atmos.

The price for this TV is allegedly going to be more than 100 million Won, which means its price is at least a whopping RM356213. Definitely not a TV for the average Joe.
