If you remember the news about LG designing a new "raindrop" camera lens, it seems that the company will be launching a new product soon with that new look. They just recently released a new teaser video and the phone will be called as the LG Velvet, which will premier on 7 May 2020.

Judging by the teaser video, it seems to suggest that the LG Velvet's quad rear camera setup will have different colours on each lens. Whether if it's just marketing or not, reports say the phone will be available in orange-red, green, black and white. Besides that, the phone also features a Snapdragon 765G chipset and that means it's 5G-ready.

On top of that, rumours have it that the LG Velvet is sporting either a 6.7 or 6.9-inch OLED display with an in-display fingerprint reader. A 4000mAh battery could be on board and the main camera sensor is 48MP. In terms of pricing, it may be 800,000 KRW which is around ~RM2825.

The livestream will appear on LG's official Facebook and YouTube channel. We will be keeping an eye on this one, so stay tuned for more trending news at TechNave.com.
