Today, Lenovo Malaysia has announced two new gaming laptops arrival into the Malaysian market. Dubbed as the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro and Lenovo Legion 5 AMD, the company is offering attractive pre-order promotion deals that come with gaming accessories for RM6799 and RM6099 respectively. Yeah, it's expensive but with a good reason so let's check out the highlighted tech specs.
To start, the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro is sporting the latest AMD Ryzen 7 5800H mobile processor paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. As a pro variant, it has a rather big 16-inch IPS display with up to 165Hz refresh rate and 3mn response time. It's also nice knowing that the display supports 100% sRGB colour accuracy and there's Dolby Vision too.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5 AMD isn't too different as it also features the same processor but with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU only. The IPS display is slightly smaller, measuring 15.6-inches but with the same 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB colour clarity. Plus, both Legion 5 laptops have the same AI Engine and Dual Burn support to hit high frame rates without compromises, as well as having Legion Coldfront 3.0 for cooling.
Other notable features include the Legion TrueStrike Keyboard with an optional 4-zone RGB lighting. Nahimic Audio is onboard too to provide a near 3D-audio sound effect that would be compatible with a headset. Also, both laptops have up to 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 RAM + 1TB NVMe SSD memory.
The pre-order for the Legion 5 Pro and Legion 5 AMD has already begun until 18 April 2021.
