Today, Lenovo Malaysia has finally launched the much-awaited and latest Lenovo Legion lineup. There are a total of four variants - the Lenovo Legion 5i Pro, Legion 5 Pro, Legion 5i and Legion 5 from a starting price of RM5299.
These laptops first made their appearance way back in CES 2022 so it was about time they showed up. To refresh your memory, the Legion 5i Pro and Legion 5 Pro are the world’s first 16-inch laptop series with a WQHD+ up to 240Hz adaptive refresh rate gaming display. Not only that, but the company also retained the 16-inch WQHD+ (2960 x 1600) IPS display in 16:10 format with 100% sRGB colour gamut and up to 3ms response time.
Powered by the latest up to 12th Gen Intel Core or i7-12700H or next-gen AMD Ryzen processors, it also features the latest GeForce RTX 30 series, 4800Mhz DDR5 memory and up to 1TB PCle 4.0 SSD. All in all, the latest pro variants aren't that much different from their predecessors, but they have an updated Legion Coldfront 4.0 cooling fan system and Legion Spectrum RGN Lighting.
Next, the Legion 5 and Legion 5i are the lesser variants carrying up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H processor and up to optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU. Lenovo also said the new Legion 5 series is 15% thinner than before with improved aluminium and magnesium blended metal cover. Lastly, the 15-inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) IPS 16:9 display sports up to a 165Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB colour gamut at 300 nits bright, and full spectrum visuals with Dolby Vision.

All the new Legion laptops are now available on the Lenovo Exclusive Stores (LES) and official stores on Lazada and Shopee. Moreover, you can also choose to pay on a 12-month instalment plan with an HSBC credit card on the Lenovo Malaysia Official Online Store.
On top of that, all purchases of a new Lenovo Legion 5/5i at any Lenovo Exclusive Stores (LES) will come with limited-edition Legion merchandise worth RM322 and a free 3-month PC game pass (from now until 31 August 2022). Then, those who get the pro variants will receive a Lenovo 500 Bluetooth In-Ear Headphone and a Lenovo Legion Active Gaming Backpack with a total worth of RM492, along with a 3-month PC game pass with their purchase at any LES.
