Lenovo Legion Go S with SteamOS expected to launch 25 May 2025 for ~RM2438

If you want a Steam Deck alternative, the Lenovo Legion Go S is what you're waiting for. First unveiled at CES 2025, the upcoming Lenovo handheld is the first third-party SteamOS device. Now, it has been confirmed the Legion Go S will launch in May.

Earlier today, Lenovo Legion announced on X pre-orders for the Lenovo Legion Go S. A Best Buy link for the product revealed a release date of 25 May 2025 and a retail price of USD 550 (~RM2438). This base model sports an AMD Ryzen Z2 Go chip, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. It also has an 8-inch 120Hz display, a 55.5Wh battery, dual-2W speakers, a microSD card reader, and more.

For more performance, there's a variant with an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage for USD 750 (~RM3324). Those who want a device that can double as a mini portable PC can pick the Windows OS variants instead. The two Windows OS variants feature the same specs as their SteamOS counterparts, priced respectively at USD 730 (~RM3235) and USD 830 (~RM3679).
