Lenovo ThinkPad E14 and E15 Malaysia release: Precision Keyboard, integrated fingerprint reader, and dual SSD slots from RM3449

A few weeks back, Lenovo unveiled its new Legion gaming PCs that are based on AMD Ryzen 4000 Mobile series CPUs. Now, the company has announced that two new ThinkPad E series laptops sporting AMD Ryzen CPUs - the ThinkPad E14 and E15.

Designed for the workforce, Lenovo's ThinkPad E14 and E15 ship with either the AMD Ryzen 3 4300U, Ryzen 5 4600U or Ryzen 7 4700U CPU. The GPU will be the integrated graphics, which provides enough performance for the average worker. In terms of RAM, you can go for either 8GB or 16GB that will be soldered on, with an extra DIMM slot available for you to upgrade to. Besides that, the two laptops will have two M.2 SSD slots and a battery that can last up to 13 hours (Ryzen 7 4700U).

As for features, the two new laptops will have some of the security features that its T series and X series siblings have. One of it would be the fingerprint reader that's integrated into the power button. Additionally, there's the Precision Keyboard, ThinkShutter, and dual-array microphones for better audio clarity during video meetings. There's also an optional IR camera that allows for fancy features via Mirametrix's Glance technology.

Being part of Lenovo's ThinkPad E series, the ThinkPad E14 and E15 come with incredibly affordable prices.
