Back in March, the once smartphone maker juggernaut, HTC announced that it's planning to its own metaverse ecosystem with VR, AR, AI, 5G & NFTs. Seems like the company is ready to showcase some Viverse technologies soon on 28 June 2022.
It's interesting to note that the showcase could be a new HTC phone that has something to do with the Viverse. While we have no official information about it, rumours have it that the new HTC phone could focus heavily on VR and AR within the Viverse. It could also be compatible with the Vive Flow VR headset.
Some AR apps could be supported as well since it was reported that HTC would be partnering with Taiwan Mobile, Chunghwa Telecom and FarEasTone for that. The new HTC phone was supposed to appear earlier in April but was delayed due to supply chain issues.
