Based on a statement by Ice Universe on the user’s weibo account, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset will most likely be unveiled somewhere around July 2020 provided there are not hiccups. With that said, we can expect many smartphone manufacturers to unveil a few flagship smartphones that come equipped with the aforementioned chipset.
While not much is known in regards to which smartphone will come equipped with the new chipset, sources did mention devices such as the ROG Phone 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G might have it. However, do take some of the information mentioned with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Qualcomm has yet to provide an official statement on the leaks.
Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date and local pricing for any of the smartphone that comes with the new chipset.
