Back in July, our Prime Minister announced a RM100 aid for every Malaysian over 18 years old through MyKAD from 31 August 2025. While there were reports of fake RM100 aid websites targeting Malaysians, the government has set up a new portal to help citizens check their eligibility for the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) program.

Legit Website

The Malaysian government has rolled out a special update to its Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) initiative, confirming a one-off RM100 credit for all citizens aged 18 and above (born in 2007 or earlier). The refreshed system now allows eligible recipients to check their status directly via the official SARA platform—live starting today.

No Sign-Up Needed: RM100 Credit Auto-Delivered to MyKAD Holders

According to the Ministry of Finance, approximately 22 million Malaysians with valid MyKADs will automatically receive the RM100 appreciation credit. No registration or application is required. The credit will be disbursed beginning 31 August 2025, and remains valid for use until 31 December 2025.

Where to Spend: Nearby Stores Listed on the SARA Platform

Alongside eligibility checks, users can also browse a list of participating stores near them, where the RM100 credit can be used to purchase essential goods. The credit will be activated on 31 August, and users are encouraged to verify their status and explore redemption options via the SARA portal today.

We have already checked the website, and it is legitimate, so don't worry about it being a scam website or whatnot. Stay safe and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
