Yesterday, our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the official distribution dates for the RM100 e-Madani (formerly known as e-Tunai). Eligible participants can redeem the RM100 credit starting from 4 December 2023 but the providers were not mentioned until today.

The e-Madani website is now updated and only four ewallet services have been chosen for this task - Maybank's MAE app, Setel, ShopeePay and Touch 'n Go eWallet. As a refresh, the RM100 credit can only be redeemed by one person who is a Malaysian aged 21 and above with an annual income below RM100,000.

The website also added more details on credit redemption. Once claimed, the RM100 must be spent no later than 11.59 PM, 29 February 2024 which is also the last day of redeeming it. After the deadline, the unused eMADANI credit balance will automatically expire from the applicant's e-wallet.

There are a few terms and conditions listed on the website too so it would be wise to read them up. So for more information, please visit the official web portal right over here to check it out.
