Earlier today, AmBank published a web page revealing its support for Apple Pay. However, due to unknown reasons, it has been taken down. Until now, Maybank goes through the same thing by publishing a web page dedicated to the payment service and deleting it afterwards.

Despite that, the source still manages to grab some information from there. Maybank says the service is supported through Maybank Visa, Maybank Mastercard and even Maybank American Express. These include credit cards, debit cards, and prepaid cards. Meanwhile, corporate cards are not supported under Apple Pay.

The service is definitely coming to Malaysia, with these banks accidentally publishing their web pages for the announcement. If you don't know much about Apple Pay, it basically allows the users to link a bank card to their Apple products and use them to make payments in stores or online. It's achieved through NFC on the devices.
