More Samsung Galaxy A25 tech specs leaked online

In the last year or so, the refresh cycle of some Samsung Galaxy A series devices has been shorter. Case in point, the Galaxy A23 launched in August 2022, followed by the Galaxy A24 in April 2023. As such, it's not surprising to see a new leak of the Galaxy A25 so soon.

Last week, the Samsung Galaxy A25 5G was spotted on Geekbench with the Samsung Exynos 1280 chipset. Now, more details were leaked on Twitter (or X if you really must...) by @TheGalox_. The tipster claims the device would have 8GB of RAM, a 5000mAh battery, and a 50MP main camera. As for the display, it will use a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel.

Besides that, the Galaxy A25 will feature 25W charging and run on an Android 14-based OneUI 6. The tipster also mentioned that the phone will "launch in the coming months". That's not a precise launch window, but we don't think it'll be within 2023. If Samsung is following the current refresh cycle, which seems to be eight months, we should see it sometime in January 2024.

Honestly, the Galaxy A25 doesn't sound like much of an upgrade over its predecessor, except for the chipset. But maybe Samsung will surprise us, so we'll keep an eye out for updates. Until then, stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
